Recently I read a post of my friend and I asked her for permission to reblog it. So here we go...

This is a Story…Please take your time to read it!

Hi Mommy!
I’m your baby. You don’t know me yet, I’m only a few weeks old. You’re going to find out about me soon, though, I promise. Let me tell you some things about me. My name is John, and I’ve got beautiful brown eyes and black hair. Well, I don’t have it yet, but I will when I’m born. I’m going to be your only child, and you’ll call me your one and only. I’m going to grow up without a daddy mostly, but we have each other. We’ll help each other, and love each other. I want to be a doctor when I grow up.

You found out about me today, Mommy! You were so excited, you couldn’t wait to tell everyone. All you could do all day was smile, and life was perfect. You have a beautiful smile, Mommy. It will be the first face I will see in my life, and it will be the best thing I see in my life. I
know it already.

Today was the day you told Daddy. You were so excited to tell him about me! …He wasn’t happy, Mommy. He kind of got angry. I don’t think that you noticed, but he did. He started to talk about something called wedlock, and money, and bills, and stuff I don’t think I understand
yet. You were still happy, though, so it was okay. Then he did something scary, Mommy. He hit you. I could feel you fall backward, and your hands flying up to protect me. I was okay…but I was very sad for you. You were crying then, Mommy. That’s a sound I don’t like. It doesn’t make me feel good. It made me cry, too. He said sorry after and he hugged you again. You forgave him, Mommy, but I’m not sure if I do. It wasn’t right. You say he loves you… why would he hurt you? I don’t like it, Mommy.

Finally, you can see me! Your stomach is a little bit bigger, and you’re so proud of me! You went out with your mommy to buy new clothes and you were so so so happy. You sing to me, too. You have the most beautiful voice in the whole wide world. When you sing is when I’m happiest. And you talk to me, and I feel safe. So safe. You just wait and see, Mommy. When I am born I will be perfect just for you. I will make you proud, and I will love you with all of my heart.

I can move my hands and feet now, Mommy. I do it because you put your hands on your belly to feel me, and I giggle. You giggle, too. I love you, Mommy.

Daddy came to see you today, Mommy. I got really scared. He was acting funny and he wasn’t talking right. He said he didn’t want you. I don’t know why, but that’s what he said. And he hit you again. I got angry, Mommy. When I grow up I promise I won’t let you get hurt! I promise to protect you. Daddy is bad. I don’t care if you think that he is a good person, I think he’s bad. But he hit you, and he said he didn’t want us. He doesn’t like me. Why doesn’t he like me, Mommy?

You didn’t talk to me tonight, Mommy. Is everything okay?

It’s been three days since you saw Daddy. You haven’t talked to me or touched me or anything since that. Don’t you still love me, Mommy? I still love you. I think you feel sad. The only time I feel you is when you sleep. You sleep funny, kind of curled up on your side. And you hug
me with your arms, and I feel safe and warm again. Why don’t you do that when you’re awake, any more?

I’m 21 weeks old today, Mommy. Aren’t you proud of me? We’re going somewhere today, and it’s somewhere new. I’m excited. It looks like a hospital, too. I want to be a doctor when I grow up, Mommy. Did I tell you that? I hope you’re as excited as I am. I can’t wait.

…Mommy, I’m getting scared. Your heart is still beating, but I don’t know what you are thinking. The doctor is talking to you. I think something’s going to happen soon. I’m really, really, really scared, Mommy. Please tell me you love me. Then I will feel safe again. I love you!

Mommy, what are they doing to me!? It hurts! Please make them stop! It feels bad! Please, Mommy, please please help me! Make them stop!

Don’t worry Mommy, I’m safe. I’m in heaven with the angels now. They told me what you did, and they said it’s called an abortion.

Why, Mommy? Why did you do it? Don’t you love me any more? Why did you get rid of me? I’m really, really, really sorry if I did something wrong, Mommy. I love you, Mommy! I love you with all of my heart. Why don’t you love me? What did I do to deserve what they did to me? I want to live, Mommy! Please! It really, really hurts to see you not care about me, and not talk to me. Didn’t I love you enough? Please say you’ll keep me, Mommy! I want to live smile and watch the clouds and see your face and grow up and be a doctor. I don’t want to be here, I want you to love me again! I’m really really really sorry if I did something wrong. I love you!

I love you, Mommy.

Every abortion is just…
One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.

If you’re against abortion, feel free to reblog.
This is sooo sad right? I know T___T However, here is a small note for you...
If you want to avoid pregancy - abortion, use contraceptives before you have fun, my gosh... such as a condom...Haven't you been taught this in elementary school? Ôó
...definitely nooot funny... trying to be serious right now òó

School Play - The Liar

Thanks to Eric,  who was so kind and invited me to our school play, I could enjoy a nice evening!
(Sidenote: Because of me he's broke now; no more lunch money and no more money for Leaugue of Legends....)
Everyone told me that I needed to go, especially as an exchange student I shouldn't miss it. And they were absolutely right!  It was fantastic *-* It's funnier for us to watch and enjoy it than for you, since they are our classmates. However here is a short summary of "The Liar" and of course some piiicctuuurres

" All seems well in Venice! Shy Florindo loves Rosaura, although he can't tell her. Handsome Ottavio loves Beatrice, although her attention often wanders. Then Lelio arrives home after 20 years. He's smooth, handsome and the world's biggest liar. He impersonates a rich nobleman to impress the girls, but then has to lie more and more to keep his story straight. Eventually he deceives everyone - even his own father - and causes complete chaos! Meanwhile, Arleechino, Lelio's silly servant, copies his master and woos a local maidservant, but he doesn't lie as convincingly...
Falsehoods, fist fights, broken engagements, romantic misunderstandings, angry parents and duels of honour all ensue before it's revealed that Lelio is already married! Cleonice, his wife, arrives and drags him off to Rome, leaving our true lovers to marry and carry on their less extravagant, but hones, lives"

After that we treated ourselves with BUBBLETEA ... unfortunately I ordered the wrong thing, so that it didn't taste that well... I'll tell ya, never order Passion Joghurt. Also the shop ran out of the pearls since it was 11pm haha. All in all, it was a funny night though :)

...last picture... on our way to the theatre ... @Denise: Wait a minute Boy, why you tripping like that?
You think 'cause you tricking you get it just like that?
Wait a minute...

Alright, good night everyone! PEAACE!

Cherry Blossoms

Another boring day in our lives. Guess what?
We took some pictures again. This time we didn't plan to have photo-shoot at all, but somehow we ended up with 122 pictures. Since it was a spontaneous idea, we didn't  dress ourselves up - instead we looked very tired and exhausted from school. However we noticed that a lot of people looked at us... in fact they spoke to us. Isn't it weird?
First, when we were on our way to Burrard, some adolescents continuously starred at us. When we waited for the skytrain, the boys stood next to us. One of the guys watched us through his sunglasses and when we sat in the skytrain, he even put off his sunglasses and continued starring. CREEPY, I tell ya. Anyway, if you wonder how I knew he was looking at us? Well, I'm Lin, I just know it ... joke... Denise told the end of the day XD

Later when we arrived at Burrard to take some pictures with all the beautiful cherry blossoms.

A Malaysian couple talked to us and wanted to take a picture with me. Weird² He asked me if I were Filipino, but I told him that I was half Chinese and Vietnamese. Out of sudden he asked for my name in Vietnamese !!!! FREAKING AMAZING right?! He told me that he studied for four years in Hanoi - what a coincidence, my mum is from there too. He wanted to know my Email, so he can send me the picture but I as you can see, I have my own picture BAM
After that, we went to Starbucks and guess what? On our way to Starbucks a group of business students passed by and said HEEY ... I had to laugh so hard HAHA
When we were in Starbucks ( Like like like <3)  Some random guy, who stood behind us, started recommending us some drinks. Probably we girls looked so helpless and confused - as always- anyway he wasn't helpful... He didn't even know about my favourite drink hot salted caramel chocolate
Ya i know, it looks so yummy right? *-*

Anyway, I ended up getting a hot salted caramel chocolate with extra salt, because the guy behind the counter thought I was cute hahaha
- Insert a very cute picture of myself (HAHA I have to laugh so hardly XDD)
Okay, that was my little trip to Downtown with Denise...again.
I'll upload the pictures later, because I'm in Art right now and I'm working industriously on my Art project, as you all can see. hehe ... by the way that was ironic Oo whuahaha
Maaannn I'm hungry -____- I want to eat my instant noodles *o*

       Have a nice day everyone!!!

Canada Delta

Yesterday I went with Denise and her aunt to Delta. It was her best friend's child birthday. Our first impression when we came there was: Oh my Buddha... for Denise: Oh my God :-P everywhere were children screaming and laughing. They were running around the house and the parents were standing aside watching them. We imagined our future, asking ourselves: How would our family picture look like in the future, how would we feel being a mum? How could we manage our families and still have enough time for our friends?  It was kinda funny, how we sat there and ate, imaging our perfect life with beautiful lovely children and our husband we're always dreaming of... *-*
But come one... can you imagine me being a mother ?...I don't think so hahaha
After that we also went to Delta's beach, it was so windy but also very beautiful.
It's a good place to destress yourself by screaming out your lungs (an advice by denise's aunt haha)
...& nooow it's time for camewhoring yaaay
Amazing how much fun two girls can have in a car with a camera right?

Photoshoot - Summer look

Yaaay another sunny day in Vancouver, so I decided to hang out with some of my friends, instead of wasting it in my bed... & guess what? It turns into a photoshoot again haha
But we didn't take many pictures this time, because although it was sunny it was still freezing bbrrhh...
And as expected everyone looked at us and thought we were crazy to wear dresses at these temperatures... whatever ... if you want beautiful pictures, you have to sacrifice!!! HAHA
Also, we haven't had a lot of time left when we arrived at Alyana's house. It already took hours to get there, because it's located at the end of the world. After that we spent hours in the bathroom for our makeover, which then made us hungry so we had to take a break and eat Tacos ( which is really tasty *----*, big thanks to Alyana's mum). Finally we took some pictures for maybe 15 minutes however it was fun though and that's the most important thing right?

Anyway here you are, I hope you guys like it :)
but there are still some pictures missing though...I'll upload them later once Reizel sends me everything ...

Having a great time :)

Question 1

If someone asks me: "What would you like to do before you die?" How would I respond?
Indeed, this is a question we should ask ourselves before it’s too late. How shall we manage our life without looking back one day and say: "There is nothing I regret!" We shouldn’t waste our life and our precious time but appreciate every breath we take.

Personally, I know exactly what I still want to do. I wish I could plan a trip with my whole family. We haven’t done this for years; most of the time we either travel by ourselves or if we try to travel with the family, someone is still missing. Since we now have grown up and some of my 5 siblings have moved out it is extremely difficult to organize such activities. It’s nearly impossible.
Nevertheless, I would like to at least present my Mum with a travel-gift, so she can enjoy her life. Recently, she was on a 2week Buddhist trip to Thailand. You cannot imagine how happy she was. She enthusiastically told everybody how fantastic the trip was. Literally, her eyes were shining as she went on and on with those beautiful memories. I have not seen her being so happy for such a long time. I wish her to do it again in the nearest future because SHE REALLY DESERVES IT!
Looking back into the past I realized that my Mom has sacrificed her whole life for us. She was always there when we needed her; she forgot her own needs and was happy when we were happy. And I am sure as long as she lives she will continue to do so! We should not take this for granted, should we?
What does a Mom usually think and do? Well, she tries hard to raise her children, hoping that they grow up and become good people. She wishes and hopes for the children to have a better life than she had. As I mentioned above:
"She is happy when we are happy".
What about us? What do we think and do? The time will come that we become mature and go our own way and make our own decisions for our lives. But as we get older we become more and more selfish. The only thing in our mind is to leave homes, to become independent, to live a life as we always imagined and nobody tells us what to do. BUT believe me, once you think you have gained your freedom, you will very soon realize that you also have big responsibility now. You will feel lonely as well and miss your Mom. And you just wish that she is there to tell you what to do.
There is a Vietnamese saying, expressing the attitude of children towards their parents:
"Parents raise their children for months and years; once children have to look after their parents, they’re counting every day and seconds!"
Isn't it so? You know exactly what I am talking about, right? Come on, don't lie to yourself :-P Who of us would not feel annoyed when our Mom or Dad ask us to do them a favor, but we are completely outraged. We promise to do it later and take things for not serious. It is just because we were enjoying watching our favorite TV episodes of Spongebob Squarepants or having friends coming over? And remember when your parents last time asked you to explain something, for example, how an Iphone 4 works, what was your reaction? Believe me, we are not as patient as our parents, not even a fraction.
Remember, when we were babies and cried our lungs out when we were hungry or did not feel comfortable, no matter what time? Although our parents had lack of sleep, they showed patience and loving kindness. Also, remember when we were about five years old, haven’t we constantly annoy our parents by asking questions like “Why is the sky blue? Why this and that?
There are way more things I could list, but I stop now since I’m pretty sure that you all know what my point is, right? GOTCHA!!!

One last thing, there is a short story I have heard from my Dharma master about a year ago when we were discussing about "deference" and "respect and thankfulness" towards parents.
I thought it would be nice to share it with you:
There was a little boy who was very energetic. He liked doing things that his father forbid him. Every time he came home, his father would yell, punish and even beat him. However, the boy never cried, no matter how much it hurt. Later, the boy grew up and has not even changed a little bit. He still broke the rules and disobeyed his father; his father continuously beat him. Even by this time, the boy has never shed a tear when his father punished him. A few years later, the boy turned into a young mature man. And still, he was not afraid of his father, he disobeyed him and so on. But one day, surprisingly, his father was not able to beat him anymore but only yell at the young man. Suddenly, he began to cry.
Can you guess why?
Because this young man realized that his father is becoming old and he is too weak now to beat him. All the past years his father tried to teach him rights and wrongs, good and bad, proper behaviors and misconducts, but the boy has wasted his father's time by making him more sad and disappointed. Now, all of a sudden, the boy who was once very energetic turned into a sensible young man, kneeling in front of his father and begged for forgiveness. He promised to change.
I guess, you guys do not want to be like the boy in this story, huh, do you? So, I'll leave you with that. Think about it. I would really appreciate if you can give me some feedbacks.
By the way, have you ever thought of giving something back to your parents, even if it is just a small gesture? Ever thought to say "Thank you Mom, thank you Dad for what you have done for me and make me who I am" or were you just too busy with your life and work?
Also, it was not my intension to write a whole novel about this issue. My initial thought was to ask you: "What would you like to do before you die?" …
